Professional supercardioid on-camera shotgun microphone, the Saramonic SR-VM4 is powered by 2x standard AA batteries, offering ultra-light and sturdy ABS construction. This full-sized shotgun microphone with a 5.5” x 0.9” interference tube delivers detailed broadcast-quality sound with focused directionality and excellent off-axis rejection.

Featuring a 3-stage level control with a +20dB boost switch for cameras with noisy preamps, 0dB for high-quality preamps, and a -10dB pad for loud sounds, the SR-VM4 also includes a 75Hz high-pass filter to eliminate low-frequency rumble. It comes with both a foam windscreen for indoor filming and a furry windshield for outdoor and windy conditions.

The microphone includes a lightweight integrated shock mount with a camera-shoe mount and a 1/4”-20 thread for easy mounting. It also features an integrated coiled 3.5mm TRS cable for convenient connectivity. With an operating time of up to 720 hours on 2x AA batteries (not included), the SR-VM4 is designed for extended use in a variety of filming environments.

For added versatility, the SR-VM4 can be paired with optional adapter cables and adapters from Saramonic (sold separately). This allows users to connect the microphone to a range of devices including pro cameras, smartphones, computers, and more.
